Message from the Chair
Hi, I’m Peter, Chair of the Local Neighbourhood Partnership (LNP),
First, may I start by thanking everyone for their continued support of the LNP. It has been a busy year with the changes in the service, the good news is we still have a LNP service and we are grateful for the support and the commitment the council have shown to the LNP.
I am also pleased to report that the Board have maintained their commitment and dedication. In July we met to select the local priorities (listed below) and we are now working hard to progress them. We however, do need more residents involved on the Board, we can only be more representative and successful with your support and involvement. If you like more information on how you can join the Board call Sukhminder on 01902 572470.
We are holding our first AGM in April, since the restructure, on Tuesday 3rd April 2012, 6pm at the Dunstall Racecourse to which you are cordially invited. We will be able to tell you more about the LNP and the work we and other agencies have been doing and I look forward to meeting you then.
Peter Holmes MBE
Your LNP
The Whitmore Reans LNP aims to improve the lives of local people by involving them in decisions about how services are delivered locally.
The Local Neighbourhood Partnership brings together local people (both individuals and those representing community and voluntary groups), businesses, service providers and elected ward Councillors to work in partnership to make lasting improvements to the neighbourhood.
The Local Neighbourhood Partnership meets regularly throughout the year to address the LNP priorities and the LNP Board is made up of a representative group of people from this wider Partnership. The Board works with LNP staff and service providers to co-ordinate , oversee and progress work of the LNP. More information on the LNP Governance Arrangements is available by clicking the highlighted text.
LNP members receive regular information and are invited to Partnership meetings, including Annual General Meetings.
