Welcome to Wednesfield & Fallings Park LNP

Hello and Welcome to YOUR Local Neighbourhood Partnership

Relationships between service providers and local communities are changing.  Local people are much more discerning; they have higher expectations about the kinds of services they want; they want greater choice and much more say and involvement in decisions about how services are delivered to meet their needs.

The Local Neighbourhood Partnership (LNP) recognises the increasingly important role that neighbourhoods play in what and how services will be delivered.

The overall aim of the process is to empower local people in shaping public services and will mean more informed and engaged communities participating in decision making and working with service providers in designing, delivering and monitoring services.

What is the Local Neighbourhood Partnership (LNP)?

The LNP brings together a wide group of interested individuals, representatives of community and voluntary groups, service providers, local businesses and councillors to a meeting on a quarterly basis.  At this meeting, the Partnership highlights issues and priorities as they arise and agree actions to address these priorities.

The LNP will promote resident engagement and collaborative working, to influence service delivery, improve the quality of life for local people and reduce inequality and disadvantage in deprived / priority neighbourhoods as part of a broader commitment to creating sustainable and cohesive communities.
