Anti-social behaviour - Don't live with it, report it
Tackling anti-social behaviour is a key priority for the Safer Wolverhampton Partnership, which comprises Wolverhampton City Council, West Midlands Police and other key organisations throughout the City.
Wolverhampton has made a commitment to step up and improve its response to anti-social behaviour by taking part in the Home Office initiative ‘It’s Your Call’.
The ‘It’s Your Call’ reporting line on 01902 551188 makes it as simple as possible for residents of Wolverhampton to report incidents of anti-social behaviour in their area.

West Midlands Fire Service not only responds to incidents of many different types but also focuses on protecting and preventing, engaging with the community and removing the causes of fires before they occur. This approach is very successful and has seen a 24% reduction in incidents attended over the five year period 2008/9 compared to 2004/5.

The SUIT project is a charity based organisation that is run and host by the Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council (WVSC). This allows the project to be completely independent to drug treatment providers, but close enough to be able to influence and impact on the way that drug treatment is delivered in the city.
SUIT have been running now for over three years, and has grown from 2 staff members & one volunteer, to 3 staff and 10 volunteers with a vast array of work that not only shows off recovering drug users talents, but also helps to educate many people and organisations about some of the dangers of substance misuse and the difficulties that people face in overcoming them.
SUIT are commissioned to take on volunteers who are currently receiving drug treatment, who have received drug treatment in the last 6 months, or those who are looking to access treatment – all this within the realms of Wolverhampton.
SUIT primarily work with those individuals who use/d Heroin or Crack Cocaine, however due the ever changing face of addiction SUIT do have some flexibility with this, and they never refuse to offer help and advice to anyone who needs help.
The team consists of a full time drug service user involvement officer, a part time administrator, a part time project worker and 10 volunteers. All of whom bar one, have suffered from addiction.
The team works on a number of tasks and activities at any given time. The types of work shows the dynamic approach SUIT has towards substance misuse and recovery.
