Get Involved
The scheme provides local people with a practical way to influence what happens in their neighbourhood by working with the police and council to determine local policing priorities.
At your local meeting you can:
- Meet representatives from the police and council
- Help determine local policing priorities
- Be informed on performance of local policing
- Receive feedback on previous priorities
- Seek help on individual or community wide problems
How can I get involved?
Meetings taking place in your local area are outlined below. Why not attend these meetings and help prioritise local issues that will make your area a better place to live and work in.
In addition to structured meetings in some months you may find different methods will be utilised to talk with local people which may include street briefings, stalls at supermarkets, promotional police vehicles and other locally determined engagement tools.
If you cannot physically attend a meeting you can get a representative to voice your concern or alternatively you can contact your local Sergeant and Neighbourhood manager directly.
Local Neighbourhood Partnerships (LNPs) provide the means for local communities throughout Wolverhampton to work with service providers and commissioners in shaping the design, planning and delivery of public services. The aim of the LNP service is to empower local people to shape public services and the future of their neighbourhood.
14 Local Neighbourhood Partnerships (LNPs) have been established across the City bringing together all the interests in the area: local people, local community groups, councillors, voluntary and community sector partners and public sector organisations. PACT meetings are delivered as part of the LNP structure.
