Safer Wolverhampton Partnership will be at the One City Show 2010

SWP will once again be present at this years One City Show, which is being held 10 -11 July at West Park.

 

SWP will be together with a number of other partners within the The One City Marquee.

 

Come and visit the large marquee opposite the main arena and entrance

during the two-day event. Inside the marquee you can talk to people from a whole range of agencies who work together to make the city a safer place.

 

Outside of the marquee there will be performances by talented local

Musicians and dance artists over the weekend. This includes local street dancers Transit Trix, winners of the Wolverhampton’s Got Talent competition last year and the Hip Hop Dance Crew, a young Hip Hop crew from Wolverhampton who have just qualified as the UK’s best newcomers in the Hip Hop division of a national dance competition. Both acts will be performing from 4:00pm onwards on both days.

 

In addition, don’t miss a rhythmic treat with the Azaad Dhol Group and Kalillo African Drumming

 

You can also join in with some of the activities such as Tai Chi, provided by one of the leading Tai Chi organisations in Europe, children’s football

salsa dancing and exercise sessions.

 

Wolfie (the Wolverhampton Wanderers mascot) will also be making a celebrity appearance in the marquee on the Saturday during the City Show.

Come and meet him between 1pm and 3pm.

 

Anyone who comes along will be entered into a free prize draw to win a 42 inch television.
