Safer Wolverhampton Partnership
A diverse range of projects and initiatives are underway to realise the partnership's vision that in a safer city, everyone will both be safer and feel safer.
The group has identified three main themes as part of its self assessment: communication, collective responsibility and equal opportunities.
The partnership's communications strategy is being developed and will feature as part of the next crime reduction strategy. Collective responsibility was raised because of the merger of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership with the Drug Action Team to form the Safer Wolverhampton Partnership.
Clear guidance is being agreed on how this merger will benefit the delivery of the strategy. Equal opportunities must also play a central role in the work of the partnership and ensure that its activities, and also those of its partners, reflect the diverse communities it serves. |
