Wolverhampton Learning Partnership

The partnership exists to support the huge range of learning aspirations of all young people and adults in Wolverhampton.

It works towards its vision of A City of Learning Communities by encouraging all providers of learning, stakeholders and citizens to work together for the common good.

The partnership believes that collaboration and co-operation across all organisations and agencies is the most efficient, effective and democratic way of improving learning and skill levels throughout the community.

The independent partnership is in a unique position to represent the aspirations of all citizens through a united front in the drive to make learning the true heart of the city's regeneration.
  Learning

Government defines the two roles of learning partnerships as being to:
i. promote provider collaboration in support of lifelong learning and,
ii. maximise the contribution of learning to local regeneration.

Wolverhampton Learning Partnership acts as the learning arm of the Local Strategic Partnership and works collaboratively with the Learning and Skills Council to help plan and deliver integrated learning strategies.

They aim to encourage higher levels of participation in learning, support improved levels of education and skills and to create a partnership infrastructure to lifelong learning.
