Bantock Local Neighbourhood Partnership

Welcome to the Bantock Partnership

Our Vision:
By 2010 the Bantock Partnership area will be a more attractive and more prosperous place to be.  Residents will be more informed and have more influence over what is happening in their area.  There will be reduced crime and fear of crime.  Streets will have less litter.  There will be fewer “eyesore” buildings and sites.  Open green spaces in the area will have improved, with better playing and sports opportunities.  At least 300 residents will have benefited from skills training and there will be increased employment.

What We Do:
We work with residents, service providers and voluntary groups to find new ways to improve the area. Our top priorities are:

 Reduce crime and fear of crime
 Improve peoples’ skills and get more people into work
 Improve the environment, with cleaner streets and fewer “eyesore” buildings
 Make sure more residents feel they can influence what is going on in their  neighbourhood.
 Reduce the impact of traffic in the area

The Bantock Partnership Area:
The Bantock Partnership neighbourhood area is quite a large area, having around 8,000 households and 18,000 residents.  It comprises the neighbourhoods of Penn Fields, Chapel Ash, Merridale, Bradmore, Newbridge, Compton Park, Bantock Park and part of Finchfield.
